The past few months may have made raising a glass to your friends slightly more difficult, but staying home hasn’t had to mean staying apart. Aperitivo, the Italian tradition of getting together with friends and neighbours to enjoy a little something to eat and drink in the early evening, doesn’t need to take place next to a Venetian canal or on a London rooftop – it’s all about the company and the atmosphere. Recently, we’ve asked our Spritz Squad to share how they’ve kept the aperitivo spirit alive during lockdown and enjoyed Aperol at home. Here are some of their top tips for enjoying Aperol Spritzes at home.

Even if you’re not going out you can still dress up for that 5pm Spritz – why not complement your home décor with an Aperol Spritz in style like @katie.lavie.
